Ancy and Trevor’s wedding was by far one of the most unique weddings I have had the pleasure of witnessing this season. They did a wonderful job of bringing two cultures together with a Catholic and Syrian Orthodox ceremony.

Ancy chose a very colorful palette for her wedding décor. Her theme was peacock and jewel colors. I just loved it! The bright beautiful colors went perfectly with the traditional sari that Ancy’s sister (her Maid of Honor) wore. And the bridesmaids wore different colored dresses. This is becoming a popular trend and I love it. I think it make the photos more interesting and lets each girl stand out in the image better instead of one shape of the same color.

Another wonderful detail I must commend the couple (and decorating team) on is the reception décor. Trevor’s parents own and operate the Hotel Grande Mexican Restaurant in Norfolk NY. It was a natural reception location for the couple. And I was very impressed that they took the Mexican style interior and transformed it into a beautiful and colorful peacock and jewel reception. I loved Trevor and Ancy’s laid back whimsical style and attitude. My favorite part of their wedding photos it the genuine smile they both have. You can tell they are completely happy and in love.
