It happens that Jessica and I graduated the same year from Alfred University and although we didn’t get to spend a lot of time together during our collage years, we are having a blast getting to know each other now. Her wonderful husband Chris is also and Alfred grad, and so is my husband Matt. Needless to say we all have a lot in common and have been having a great time chatting. I got a call from Jessica early on in her pregnancy to plan out her maternity and newborn photo shoot. And I am so glad she did. If you are thinking of doing any maternity or newborn photography, make sure to plan in advance. It is really helpful! J Newborns should be photographed within the first 10 days for those cute “squishy” images. And it is best to do your maternity photos at 30 weeks or so. So give us a call at least by 26 weeks pregnant so we can plan the best photo shoot for you. Jessica and Chris chose pink and grey for their colors for sweet baby Sophie. We got lucky on the maternity outdoor photos and had beautiful sunlight, even though it was cold. We also did some great studio photos with some props her mom had made for her shower. Sophie arrived and although she wasn’t really into photography her first time in the studio, we had her back in the next day and she was all smiles and a happy sleepy baby. What a good girl!
