Oh, my heart… I had the pleasure of photographing big sister Faith a few years ago for her newborn photo shoot. At that time, I had a lot of flowers in my garden, so I made a flower “wreath” for her photo shoot. Here is that photo.
So, when I talked to Mom and Dad about how to style the twins session, we all decided on a pink and green floral wreath to mimic what big sister Faith had. I loved the idea. And I think pink and green look great for both boys and girls. And as a bonus, I had a beautiful new background with pink flowers that I could use for big sister Faith. And it looked perfect with a dress I had in the studio that fit Faith perfectly! Whenever I have a family with both a toddler and newborns I love when I get to focus on the toddler for a while. I know that there is a lot going on at home with new babies in the house. So, while mom and dad are getting the babies settled and ready, I always like to pull the big sibling aside for some special individual portraits. Faith rocked it! She was so cute. She danced, twirled, played, posed, and gave me all the sweet smiles a photographer could ask for. And Ozzie and Phoebe were just wonderful. We got gorgeous newborn photos in the pink and green floral arrangement. And I got some lovely neutral cream ones as well.
