Summer Field and Winter Wonderland Senior Photography Session {Keeley}Summer Field and Winter Wonderland Senior Photography Session {Keeley} Potsdam Based Photographer: Natalie’s Studio| High School Seniors What an amazing high school senior photography session for Keeley. I was so excited to meet Keeley and be her photographer. I had previously photographed her older sister and two older cousins. Each of those session had been amazing, and I knew Keeley’s would be just as much fun. We met for her consultation and during our conversation we chatted about how much she loved hockey and winter sports. She is a student at Northwood School in Lake Placid, which specializes winter sports. So, although it was spring when we were chatting, I said we should really have two photo shoots and do both a winter and summer one for her! She loved the idea. We went ahead and started planning. For Keeley’s summer session we started in the studio to capture beautiful headshots and some classy hockey images too. I got to use my new white brick corner set, that went prefect with outfit. And I am always a fan of the black on black images. They are so timeless, and I love they way the turned out. After the studio we made a short trip down the road and used a field of timothy that I had found. WOW! Her outfit, her eyes, the soft natural light of the end of the day… EVERYTHING looked perfect in the image. These are some of my favorites! I was so excited that we got such a wonderful look for Keeley’s summer field photos. Then, months later we did the winter portion of her photo shoot at the White Face Lodge in Lake Placid NY. It was a grey day but that worked well for our photo shoot. We got some woodsy photos and even some with falling snow. But, my favorite were the images we created by the large wooden columns of the lodge. The light fell perfect on her face and her green sweater brought out her eyes and the evergreens in the background. They are simply stunning. Keeley is such a lovely and confident young lady! It has been such a pleasure to be her senior photographer. I know she will go far and I can’t wait to see what she does! Good luck in all that you do Keeley! Love, Natalie’s Studio!
