Get Help Booking your Wedding Photographer

1. Personality!
Frankly, your photographer is one of the only wedding professionals you hire who will be in close quarters with you on your wedding day; which is arguably one of the most emotional days of your life. Don’t just get along with them; trust them and know they care about you as a person, not just another date on the calendar.
The quality of your photographer’s work and service is important but making a connection with them is even more important. When you choose a photographer who truly cares about you and your family, it will come through in the images.
So come on over to the studio and have beer, glass of wine or cup of coffee… whatever your style and lets just chat.

2. Style
Photography is an Art! And art is and always will be subjective; it has a unique style and a personality. Take a good look at your photographers work and evaluate if the style matches what you are looking for. Don’t just look for cute trendy poses, also look for emotional and creative images that will evoke the memories you made that day. Remember, a photograph should spark a memory, not replace it.
Tip: Ask to see a full wedding not just their portfolio work.

3. Service!
Beware of the Burn and Churn. Photography is a saturated, we all know that. But my philosophy is that’s just more choices! Personally I believe each business meets the needs of the clients they serve.
I myself believe in stem to stern service. I want to know YOU, what you care about and give you lasting images that reflect that. And one of my favorite things is when I meet with the bride the week before the wedding to do the wedding walk through. It just helps us clarify all the details and it is fun to be part of the excitement of the upcoming event. Ask me about the wedding walk through.
So my advice, decide what you want for service and make sure to ask your photographer what they provide. A good question is, “Do you meet with us before the wedding to help plan. And after the wedding to help design our album, or choose what display would work best in our home?”

4. Background
Ask what their education and background is. Make sure they are a skilled professional.

5. Logistics
