Testing the new Einstein Strobe Light and some Yongnuo 600's

This year I invested in a Paul Buff Einstein strobe light and several Yongnuo 600's.  So Alex and Maria came over to help my assistant Kim and I test out the flashes.  

First we worked with the Yongnuo 600's and taught ourselves how the wireless transmission works and tested the ettl features.  I was pretty pleased with the ease of use but am still not used to ettl.  I seem to like to control my flashes manually. (At least when I have the time)  Here are some of those photos.

Here are a few that we did in full sun for the girls.  Not the greatest lighting but fun shots.

Second we put the Einstein on the mini vagabond and a Paul Buff Silver Beauty dish (with the sock) to attempt to "overpower the sun"  I think we were successful.  We ran out of time but I think I will continue to practice this technique.
