What a picturesque photo shoot for Meghan and Matt. This lovely couple recently built a house in Saranac Lake NY. Matt is a talented carpenter and gave me a tour of their new home. I loving seeing houses, and Meghan's and Matt's has awesome style. Having just built our duplex this summer I am now fascinated but all of the "workings" of a house. So Matt was kind enough to show me around and answer all my silly house questions.
Being that Meghan and Matt live in the beautiful Adirondacks, naturally they wanted to have their engagement photos taken there. The property they live on is an old Christmas tree farm and has beautiful scenery. I am so excited that they are having their wedding there next year, I love when couples have their wedding in a sentimental place to them. Meghan and Matt also showed me the quaint Adirondack chapel where they will say their vows. And right across from the chapel there were beautiful lake and mountain views that we took advantage of.
For the second half of the photo session Matt took us to some great places that have beautiful views. You can tell Meghan and Matt are community people. Meghan is a nurse at a nearby hospital and she has such a sweet laid back personality I am sure she is a fantastic nurse. And driving around you can tell Matt and Meghan know their neighbors and would be there to help anyone in a minute.
I couldn’t have asked for more beautiful landscapes to show off this great looking couple! We got a little bit of everything; woodsy, mountains, lakes, sunset and even their two awesome dogs! I couldn’t be more pleased with their portraits in the Adirondacks.
I am greatly looking forward to their wedding next summer, which will also be held at their home in Saranac Lake.
