1^st Birthday Cake Smash – Pearls, Bows and Balloons in Pink and Blue {Ellie}

Happy Birthday Ellie!  My… how you and your sweet sister have grown!  We had a beautiful photo shoot to celebrate Ellie’s 1^st birthday.  Mom and I chose to use pinks and blues for the photo session, which turned out so nice.  And we decided to incorporate bows, pearls and balloons for a fun little girl session.  It turned out so sweet and the girls are just adorable!  I love Ellie’s striking blue eyes, they looked extra beautiful with the color scheme Mom chose.  I had a blue and pink flower background that went perfect with the theme. 

For Ellie’s cake smash I got a helium tank and blew up balloons, anchoring them with pink flowers.   I used a white and pink garland to dress it up a little more.  And Ellie got to wear a tutu and pearls for her cake smash.  Her cake had pink ombre rosette flowers with little pearls in the center, to dress up the sides of the cake.   And to bring in the bow theme, I added a gold fondant bow for the top.  Ellie did a great job at her cake smash and dug right in.  She loved it.  I love doing cake smash session!! They are so much fun.
