Lisa and Carrie are so much fun to be around. They are so laid back and super smart, so it is very easy to talk about anything with them. Lisa is a pharmacist and Carrie is a forensic scientist. Both jobs sound awesome but I can’t help but think of CSI when I think of Carrie going to work. Lisa is amazing at Christmas light displays. Once, she even won a town contest simply with her “normal” light display that was set up. So for a personalized proposal Lisa made a beautiful Christmas Light display with a special message and surprised Carrie with it on New Year’s Eve; which happens to be the date that Carrie always wanted to get married. I love special proposals like this one. So much thought goes into them. Lisa and Carrie both love winter. In fact they are planning a winter wedding for January of 2017. So we were lucky enough to have some beautiful snow for their engagement photos. We did some photos in the studio and then used some beautiful white birch trees right by the studio. The other outdoor photos were created at St. Lawrence University. The pine trees and elm trees gave us a lot of variety in beautiful winter scenery. And even though it was very cold, they all turned out beautiful and we were able to warm up at the bookstore with a hot cup of coffee after. I hope you all enjoy all of the photos.
