​One of my favorite things about my profession is that I get to be with families for their most important life moments. And I especially love when I get to watch a family grow over time. This is the case with Heidi and Matt Dewitt. We first met when I photographed their wedding and now I've gotten to see their family grow with the addition of RaeLynn.  I absolutely love being able to photograph the full first year from maternity to the 1^st birthday cake smash!  Since I just had my first child this year I know just how fast it goes and how much they change.  Have beautiful photographs to document this special time is so important.  They are true keepsakes.

Heidi coordinated her photo session by putting pink in each session.  From the pink bow in her maternity photos, the pink wraps in her newborn portraits to the pink flowers in RaeLynn’s first birthday dress.  There is a little pink in each session.  This is an important element to remember when planning a photo session like this; it can help make your baby’s first year album more cohesive.  Speaking of album… don’t forget to take a look at her beautiful album to commemorate her 1^st year.  I just love how it turned out.  It will be a timeless piece for Heidi and Matt.
