What a fantastic wedding day for Amanda and Andrew. This wedding is near and dear to my heart. Since Amanda is my best friends’ younger sister, she is like a little sister to me. And being that she married her high school sweetheart, Andrew, I grew up with nearly everyone in the wedding party. And those who I didn’t grow up with, I have had the pleasure of getting to know through Amanda and Richelle over the last several years.
It is always a fun challenge photographing people you are close to. In some ways it is harder because you are even more nervous. But in other ways I feel like you can connect with them on a deeper level and bring out a depth of emotion in them that is harder to do with clients you do not have history with. (Another great reason to get to know your photographer.)
Thus this particular sneak peek has more than twice as many photos than I normally post. But there were so many good ones I wanted to share! Besides Amanda and Andrew LOVE photography and did a great job planning their photography into their wedding day. We had 2 hours of photography time just for Amanda and Andrew and then another full hour for the wedding party. Plus time after for family photos. And because there ceremony was outside at 4pm there was GORGOUS light. And a special thank you to my assistant Anna who helped me get even more amazing shots from their special day.
